RE: Tahoma Valley Golf and Country Club – SPR 07-0794-YL
Request for Temporary Occupancy of Building
Mr. Bloom:
You have approached the City with a request for a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the above building. Based on the information that you presented to me (itemized below) we are
recommending that you be granted a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy until November 21, 2007.
Your request is based on the need to:
Relocate the Golf Pro Shop to the new building, facilitating the removal of the “temporary” building and complete the improvements in this area. The Golf pro shop to remain open and
accessible to public during the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy.
The restaurant needs to operate and conduct a “soft” opening (Nov 1) prior to the grand opening scheduled for Nov 5. Soft is defined as invited guests only to facilitate training of
the employees. The restaurant will not be open to the general public before the Nov. 5th Grand Opening.
The Temporary Certificate of Occupancy is granted based on:
All site improvements will be completed by noon, November 5th. With the exception of the general area defined by the location of the Temporary Pro Shop.
The Building Official must inspect and approve that all public safety requirements have been addressed inside the building.
If the striping of the parking lot can not be completed due to weather by Nov 1st then temporary striping will be installed for all parking areas.
The ADA parking stalls must be striped before any occupancy is granted. Temporary striping may be used to meet this requirement.
A parking plan needs to be submitted to Community Development for the overflow parking during the Grand Opening.
All project closeout documentation will be submitted to Community Development by November 1st. This shall include right of way dedication, utility bill of sale, utility dedication,
stormwater agreement etc.
If any of the above conditions or timelines are not met or the Community Development Department has not been contacted then the Temporary Certificate of Approval will be immediately
revoked until the improvements are completed.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact myself at (360) 458-8438.
Community Development Department
Respectfully,
Jim Gibson P.E.
