Suite B Fife, Washington 98424 RE: Notice of Final Decision - Bypass Area of Vancil Road Autumn Hill Subdivision City of Yelm Project No. SUB-01-8284-YL Dear Mr. Deavers: Pursuant to Chapter 15.49.140, this letter serves as an official “Notice of Final Decision” regarding staff's interpretation of the City’s design standards for capturing stormwater runoff. The current stormwater manual adopted by the City of Yelm is the 1992 DOE Stormwater Manual. Per the 1992 DOE Stormwater Manual you must re-design your plans so that the vertical curves in the roadway force the stormwater to flow to the catchbasins or add additional pipe and catchbasins to control the stormwater runoff. No other designs will be accepted. Staff’s interpretation of development regulations is a Type I, Ministerial Decision. As provided in Chapter 15.49, Integrated Project Review Process, a Type I Permit, may be appealed to the City Council at a closed record appeal hearing. Pursuant to Chapter 15.49.160, Appeals of city’s land use decision; you may appeal this decision within fourteen (14) days from the date of this letter. Appeals must be submitted on the enclosed form with the fee prior to the appeal deadline. When you resubmit your package, please send 4 revised sets and two drainage reports.
