Box 15113 Olympia, WA 98511-5113 RE: Buckhorn Estates – First Construction Punch list City of Yelm Project No.SUB-03-8346-YL Mr. Howard: I visited the above referenced project on December 30, 2004. During the visit I prepared the following list of items that have not been completed. The water quality wet pond is not retaining water. The liner needs to be improved or other means of lining the pond may be used. The stormwater facility needs to be repaired. Erosion needs to be controlled and future erosion needs to be prevented. The back of the sidewalks and curbs need to be filled. The requirement is the fill needs to be level with the concrete for at least one foot and taper down to the existing grade. All landscaping and irrigation requirements have not been installed or met. A portion of the 6’ wooden fence has not been installed. A small portion is missing at the northeast corner of the site and the fence has not been installed behind the lots as was discussed instead of behind the open space. The existing house needs to be connected to the utilities. This may be completed I was unable to verify this. Street lights need to be installed. The asphalt in the cul-de-sac’s are too flat and have bird baths. I met a representative from Lakeside on site during the inspection and he said he was going to fix the asphalt during the spring. This may take an assignment of savings or some other way of assuring the repair is completed to final the project. The limbs need to be removed from the side of Mountain View Road. They were removed from the trees during construction of the offsite improvements. I have provided this list to assist you in finalizing your project. This list may not be complete and other items may be added during subsequent inspections.
