Location: Department: Water
Contractor: Rep:
1. The developer is responsible for the cost of the fire hydrant locks and the City of Yelm Water Department will order and install them. The project will not be final
until the City of Yelm has received the payment in full for the fire hydrant locks.
2. The irrigation service line from Yelm Ave doesn’t exist or domestic.
3. The water meter for the existing building is at the fence of Ichiban Teriyaki property line and dentist property.
4. They should install an irrigation service line along with the Domestic service line or use one of the two existing water meters for the irrigation system. This will
require a backflow assembly behind this meter.
5. The fire hydrant runs need to be hot tapped, not cut in Tee’s. See NOTE three of page C 24.01.
6. On both fire hydrant runs, they should use field lock gaskets and mega lug for thrust or put an ecology block behind the fire hydrants.
7. The service line to the domestic meter should be a 1 1/2 inch, not 1 ¼ inch service line.
8. All water line crossing the sewer mains will be required to have a 20 foot sleeve on them or 18 inches of separation.
