These two lines are plumbed together (with a “T”) into a 2” service line, just outside the riser. Only one 2” service line goes out to the Main. Item #4 – This tank would need to be replaced with an H-20 rated tank if parking is allowed above. Item #8 – Yes a “Hot Tap” would be allowed. Item #9 – I don’t understand the question, however, our Spec. indicates that no tank shall be allowed with an invert elevation (inlet to the tank) greater than 5’ below the uppermost tank riser lid. Hope this helps, Jon Yanasak City of Yelm Sewer Dept. The questions are from the attached review letter and are as follows: Item # 3: Purpose of dual lines? Dual lines out of step tank pumping system, can they go to a single line out of pumping system from step tank? They would like to place 2 lines. Item # 4: What needs to be done to existing step tank to retrofit it to a traffic rated tank, so it can be placed in parking area? Item # 8: Can they hot tap & saddle rather than placing a Tee in the line. Item # 9: They provided detail “D”. What do you need to see or want for depth? They show 2 different phases 1& 3 with bury depth.
