2021.0022.AP0001 appeal letter for concreateFriday, December 11, 2020
To whom it may concern, I Erica Isabel and Tara and Jason Rudis the owners of the property at
16519 92nd Ave SE Yelm, WA 98597 are appealing the decision of the Variance that was
requested. The request was made to keep the extension of the driveway. The reason for the
variance request was to leave the concrete extension at the property listed above so that the Kyle
will be kept off the road which is close to the main street and will endanger him and his safety
due to his meltdowns and being a runner. The decision stated that we remove the concrete and
replace it with bark and grass etc. We are requesting an appeal to this decision due to the fact that
Kyle Sanchez, whom the reason for the variance request was made for has a medical condition
that will be affected by the replacement of the concrete. The medical condition is that he is
severely allergic to bark and grass and other environmental factors. We are attaching a letter
from the doctor verifying the medical condition. If any further documentation is needed please
let us know. We are requesting that the concrete should be kept the way that it is as it is working
to keep Kyle Sanchez safe and out of danger. He should have the opportunity to enjoy the
outdoors as others without limitations due to the new requirements. We thank you for taking the
time to reconsider the request for the variance.
Sincerely,
Tara Rudis, Jason Rudis, and Erica Isabel
