Sewer Comments 902 Rhoton
The property at 902 Rhoton Rd. has Sewer Service available but is not currently connected to sewer. There is a 4” sewer mainline on Rhoton Rd. for a possible service connection.
Containers need to be kept clear of 20’ utility easement for the 12” sewer mainline and a 10” R.W. mainline running down the Aquatics side of this property.
If there is an office present on the property connection to sewer would possibly be required, this would require the owner to design and install the tank to specifications spelled out
in chapter 7 of the Yelm development guidelines and the Dept of Ecology “Criteria for Sewage Works Design” at owner’s expense then deed the equipment/system to the City of Yelm for
maintenance.
Prior to connection to the Sewer System, connection fees of $6394 per Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) would be required to paid to the City. 1 ERU is 875 cubic feet of water per month.
A $145 Inspection fee would also be required for connection to the sewer system.
The utility easement provides for waiving water connection fees but not sewer connection fees.
