RE Hebert-Yelm Comp Plan AmendmentBill - I am going to be out of the office from the 9th to the 23rd, so the Hebert discussion will probably have to wait until after that. The best times for the City would be a Wednesday afternoon, and I will book Tami and I for the 25th between 1 and 4 here in Yelm. As you hear from the County, please coordinate any refinements to the schedule with Tami while I'm out. Regarding Creek Road, I am still waiting for the final plan set from Sound Engineering. We let Tim know last Wednesday that the plans were ready to sign and we just needed a clean set and have heard nothing back. I would like to get this done before I leave, if possible. I also briefed our City Administrator on the discussion we had about the developer agreement and she concurred with me that it worth exploring with Council. I told her I would ask you to send your draft document directly to her in my absence so she can discuss it with the Mayor. Her name is Shelly Badger, her email address is shellyb@ci.yelm.wa.us and her direct number is 458-8405. They may also be some other options that would avoid some of the concerns we have heard, while also recognizing the practical limitations of the current designation. There is no great urgency to a meeting but we would like to meet when your schedules allow. Can you let me know when you are available? Thank you. William T. Just CC me when you set up the meeting. The item has been held for the next docket cycle per Jemima's request. The priority for each docket cycle is decided with that docket by the Board of County Commissioners. Their decision is based on County priorities, staffing and funding levels. We will be meeting soon with the Yelm staff to discuss the City's review of the Amendment during its 2011 cycle. I am writing to confirm with you that the proposal can be reviewed by Thurston County during the 2011-2012 cycle assuming we can come to some consensus with Yelm. Is that correct? Would it make sense to meet jointly with you and the Yelm staff or would you prefer that we meet with Yelm first? Thank you. William T.
