It is the interest of the City to purchase the parcel located on Rhoton RD across from the current Public Works Building and adjacent to the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF).
The benefits of this site as a City owned property are as follows but not fully inclusive:
A much needed direct connection between Public Works and the WRF.
Providing a second access road to the WRF, allowing access during construction, road repairs or in the case of an emergency.
Green Space for a City Dog Park for both small and large dogs.
A secured space if needed for WRF or Public Works growth in the future.
A buffer for future Industrial sites.
A beautiful aesthetic in preparation for the completion of the Bypass, road upgrades to Rhoton and future Traffic increases along Rhoton RD.
