Notice of Public Hearing Notice of Planning Commission Public Hearing to Receive Comments on the Updates to the City of Yelm Unified Development Code The Yelm Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing to receive public comment on the proposed updates to the City of Yelm Unified Development Code. The Public Hearing will begin at 4:00 PM Monday, April 17, 2023 at Yelm City Hall, 106 Second St SE, and can be attended in person or via Zoom with the following link. https://us06web.zoom.us/s/87031933305?pwd=bzZCTXFUZUVHVVcrMVNROHAzREZtdz09 This update includes proposed changes to the Unified Development Code regarding the following: 1. Developing Special Event and Temporary Use permits. 2. Expanding the code to include Permanent Supportive Housing, Transitional Housing, Indoor Emergency Shelters, and Indoor Emergency Housing. 3. Removing mixed-use standards from C1, C2, C3, and CBD. Mixed-use standards will be updated and moved to Chapter 18.64.040 YMC. 4. Updating the Fats, Oil, and Grease (FOG) Control Plans in Chapter 13.09 of the YMC. 5. Adopting the Park Impact fee. For additional information, please contact Maryam Moeinian (360) 400-5001.
