12-16-inches from the surface or to a depth that removed topsoil, which varies across the site. ESNW rep also took a sample of native material to be further analyzed at the lab to evaluate
how structural the material will be. ESNW rep will return when requested by the client.

infiltration subgrade. While on site, ESNW observed the completion of a small-scale Pilot Infiltration Test (PIT) within the subgrade for the infiltration trench system to be installed
within Rivas Ave SE. The PIT was completed by excavating a 3’ by 4’ test pit within the subgrade of the infiltration system. Water was introduced to the PIT via a water truck. ESNW
measured an infiltration rate that exceeds the design infiltration rate of 36 inches per hour. In our opinion, the infiltration subgrade is suitable for the continued construction
of the infiltration system.

Manager Limitations: The presence of our field representative at the site is to provide our client with a source of professional advice, opinions, and recommendations based upon the
field representative’s observations and testing of the contractor’s work. Our services do not include supervision or direction of the contractor, their employees, or agents. Geotechnical
recommendations for obtaining project objectives may be made by our representatives; however, direction of the actual work should come from the owner or contractor, as appropriate.
The contractor is responsible for complying with the contract documents at all times, regardless of the presence of our field representative. Jobsite safety, including compliance
with all applicable state or federal regulations, is the sole responsibility of the contractor. The observations, recommendations, and conclusions provided in this field report are
preliminary until reviewed by the ESNW project manager. As requested by the client, ESNW was on site to perform confirmation infiltration testing within the Tract A infiltration subgrade.
While on site, ESNW observed the completion of a small-scale Pilot Infiltration Test (PIT) within the subgrade for the infiltration trench system to be installed within Tract A. The
PIT was completed by excavating a 3’ by 4’ test pit within the subgrade of the infiltration system. Water was introduced to the PIT via a water truck.!The measured infiltration rate
was approximately 300 inches/hour at the test location.! ESNW measured an infiltration rate that exceeds the design infiltration rate of 36 inches per hour. In our opinion, the infiltration
subgrade is suitable for the continued construction of the infiltration system.
