As requested by the client, ESNW was on site to perform confirmation infiltration testing within the Rivas Ave SE infiltration subgrade. While on site, ESNW observed the completion of a small-scale Pilot Infiltration Test (PIT) within the subgrade for the infiltration trench system to be installed within Rivas Ave SE. The PIT was completed by excavating a 3’ by 4’ test pit within the subgrade of the infiltration system. Water was introduced to the PIT via a water truck. ESNW measured an infiltration rate that exceeds the design infiltration rate of 36 inches per hour. In our opinion, the infiltration subgrade is suitable for the continued construction of the infiltration system. 8113.01 E 2024 0523.pdf Earth Solutions NWLLC 15365 NE 90th Street, Suite 100 Redmond, WA 98052 Office (425) 449-4704 | esnw.com Branch Office: Pasco, WA FIELD REPORT Project No. 8113.01 Page 1 of 2 Report ID 8113.01 E 2024 0523 Date Thu 5/23/2024 Weather Cloudy Arrival/Departure Time(s) 11a/1p Travel Time (hr) 1.5 Project Name Crystal Springs Location 714 Crystal Springs St NW, Yelm ESNW Rep. & Phone Doug Lufkin 206.793.8349. As requested by the client, ESNW was on site to perform confirmation infiltration testing within the Tract A infiltration subgrade. While on site, ESNW observed the completion of a small-scale Pilot Infiltration Test (PIT) within the subgrade for the infiltration trench system to be installed within Tract A. The PIT was completed by excavating a 3’ by 4’ test pit within the subgrade of the infiltration system. Water was introduced to the PIT via a water truck.!The measured infiltration rate was approximately 300 inches/hour at the test location.! ESNW measured an infiltration rate that exceeds the design infiltration rate of 36 inches per hour. In our opinion, the infiltration subgrade is suitable for the continued construction of the infiltration system. 8113.01 E 2024 0520A.pdf Earth Solutions NWLLC 15365 NE 90th Street, Suite 100 Redmond, WA 98052 Office (425) 449-4704 | esnw.com Branch Office: Pasco, WA FIELD REPORT Project No. 8113.01 Page 1 of 1 Report ID 8113.01 E 2024 0520A Date Mon 5/20/2024 Weather Cloudy Arrival/Departure Time(s) 8a/10a Travel Time (hr) 1.5 Project Name Crystal Springs Location 714 Crystal Springs St NW, Yelm ESNW Rep. & Phone Doug Lufkin Client Info/Contact PGH Excavating, Inc. | Dean Burton Reviewed By LAC Initials/Date SSR Initials/Date Field Supervisor Project Manager Limitations: The presence of our field representative at the site is to provide our client with a source of professional advice, opinions, and recommendations based upon the field representative’s observations and testing of the contractor’s work.
