The integral com- municator transmits event information (alarms, troubles, supervisories, faults, etc.) to a UL-Listed central station. The MS-5024 may be used in a variety of cost-effective applications, including: local fire alarm control panel (com- municator disabled), fire alarm control panel/communica- tor, stand-alone sprinkler supervisory communicator or slave communicator to a UL-Listed host fire alarm panel (requires N.O. dry contacts to trigger five channels). Se- lectable transmission formats allow the MS-5024 to com- municate to virtually all central stations. • Five programmable Initiating Device Circuits (zones). Each zone may be programmed for: Two-wire smoke detectors. N.O. contact devices (pull, heat). Four-wire smoke detectors. Waterflow operation. Supervisory operation. Auto-reset supervisory operation. • Two built-in, Class B (Style Y) Notification Appliance Cir- cuits (NACs). • Notification Appliance Circuits may be programmed: Silenceable. Non-Silenceable (a strobe circuit can keep flashing after the panel is silenced). Auto-Silence (program 5 to 30 minutes). Silence Inhibit (60 seconds). Coding (March Time, Temporal, California). • 3.0 Amps of Notification Appliance power. • Two built-in, fully programmable, Form-C relays. • Dual-line rotary- or Touch-Tone®-dial DACT interfaces to public telephone network (leased phone lines are not required). • 24-Volt operation. • Built-in voltmeter measures: Zone voltage. Primary AC line voltage. Battery voltage. Notification Appliance Circuit(s) voltage. Resettable 24-volt power. • Surface Mount Technology (SMT). • Fully programmable via built-in keypad (no costly exter- nal programmers necessary). • Complies with NFPA 72 (Local, Central Station and Re- mote Station [DACT only — not polarity reversal] Fire Alarm Systems). AHJs know that the TG-7FS meets all UL and ULC standards, and works in virtually every installation. This is the communicator dealers have loved for over a decade, updated with a more modern 5G LTE-M cellular radio, more efficient use of power, and more options. You’re in control when setting up and installing the TG-7FS. Apply desired settings when you’re in the office or on the road using the Telguard online dealer portal. Signals can be reported to your central station of choice. PRODUCT FEATURES Powers directly from a 12 or 24VDC alarm panel — no electrician needed for an outlet. Or, for AC, use included plug-in adapter. Operates on LTE-M networks, for 5G longevity, lower power consumption, and better in-building penetration. Interfaces with fire panels using a single DACT connection for universal compatibility. No DACT is no problem — just add a TG-PEM accessory to the TG-7FS. American made, and backed by award-winning, U.S.-based tech support. For the most current product specifications and UL Listings visit telguard.com/tg-7fs.
