Tami tvlerriman reviewed the stafF report indicating interest by Brenda Jc+Iin to circulate an Annexation Petition to annex a 5 acre parcel inia the city limits for the intent to develop. Property is currently zoned Rural Residential with the po#ential for 30 residential units if annexed and zone4-i Moderate 10ensii:y Residential (R-6}. The proposed annexation does not make a legicai boundary for the city limits. Tigmt Peterson stated that as part of the ~'Vater ~;~onsensation Plan far protecting precious water resources from loss, it is necessary to complete the installatian of the hydrant locks throughout the City, t37-34 MOTION BY JOE BAKER APPROVING PURCHASE OF FIRE HYDRANT LGGKS AND ADAPTORS iN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000. Council member 1~9cGowan reported the TC HCJME Consortium Corramittee awarded $75:!300 to crganizatians including: Habitat for Humanity, Safe Place and the Salvakian Army. Nothing has been requested from the Yeim as~ea. Council member Hendrickson reported that the ocnsalidated recycle bins are in the praeess of being delivered to the citizens of Yeim. Mayor Harding attended Yeim Emergency +v?perations Pxaard meeting where they discussed coordination of volunteer resources Afro attended Thurston Ccaunty Mayor's Forum. 11.
