Staff; Shelly Badger, Tim Peterson, Todd Stancil, Stephanie Ray, Grant Beck, Maryam Olson
and Janine Schnepf.
Depart for Bus Tour of City Projects; West Yelm Ave Sidewalk Project from Solberg to
Edwards, Mosman Street Corridor, SW Yelm Well 1 A, Yelm Medical Plaza, SR 510 Yelm Loop,
Longmire Park, Downtown Well Project ending at Public Safety Building.
Progress Update provided from 2003 to present, highlighting: Yelm's Sign Code, funding Yelm
Loop, Traffic Control, Sidewalks, Economic Development, Prairie Line Development, Water Right
Goals and Community Outreach. Also provided completed project list and current challenges.
Other Issues discussed
Organization chart -Handout provided.
Department presentations to Council suggested periodically.
Farmer's Market in Yelm; challenges, comparison to what other cities are doing,
requirements.- FAQs handout provided.
Change to Council meeting start time and adding 2"d monthly study session.
Council Committee assignments. Review assignments and recommit.

DIRECTED TO PREPARE ORDINANCE.
CONSENSUS TO KEEP SINGLE, MONTHLY STUDY SESSIONS AND ADD SESSION AS
NEEDED.
CONSENSUS TO DIRECT STAFF TO INVESTIGATE FARMERS MARKET CHALLENGES
FURTHER.
CONSENSUS TO CONTINUE EFFORTS TO SECURE ALTERNATE SOLUTION FOR
LIBRARY.
