(ASSESSOR CAN PROCESS A SEGREGATION FOF2 PROPERTY ASSESSMENT PURPOSES.
A short plat is a request to subdivide property into nine (g) or fewer lots for the purpose of residential,
commercial, or industrial development. No snore than nine (g) lots may be created by short platting
within any fve-year period. A short plat is reviewed by the City's staff for conformance with City
subdivision standards and other regulations. The plat cannot be approved unless appropriate
provisions have been made for public facilities, such as roads, sewer and water. A survey is required
for the foal short plat. Preliminary and foal review will usually each take about 30 days. Unless
appealed, the City Planner's decision is foal.
