Re: Salmon Run Apartments, City of Yelm Land Use # 20100177
Dear Mr. Butler:
The Community Development Department has reviewed the revised preliminary site plan
submitted for the Salmon Run Apartments. At this time the plan appears to meet the
minimum land use requirements. Any additional concerns must now be addressed during
your civil plan review. In order to assist you in preparing your civil plan submission for first
review, below are a few items that we noted that will need addressed.
- The land use approval requires a pedestrian connection to the commercial complex
to the north.
- Back flow prevention devices are required on all water services.
- Sewer mains shall be located in the access road, with service lines to the tanks.
- STEP tanks shall be no deeper than five {5) feet underground (from the invert).
- All sidewalks on site must meet ADA standards of five {5) feet in width.
- The final stormwater report must meet the 2005 DOE manual format, using the
WWHM far your methods; this includes both sizing and water quality.
Please refer to the City of Yelm Development Guidelines Chapter 3 for the checklist and
