On 9/2/2010 the Department of Ecology received zzotice that the City of Yelm approved your
application for az~ SDP. Your permit is to replace 45-foot existing power lines with taller 75-foot
power poles to enable installation of larger 3 phase 115v power cable within shoreline
jurisdiction of Yeln1 Creek.
13y law, local govez•nznents must review all SDPs for compliance with:
• The Shoreline Management Act (Chapter 90.58 RCW)
• Ecology's Substantial Developzrzent Permit approval criteria (Chapter 173-27-I 50 WAC)
• 'The City of Yehn Local Shoreline Masten- Program
Local governments, after reviewing SDl's for compliance, are required to submit them to
Ecology. Your approved SDP has been received by Ecology.
What Ha~~peras Next?
Before you begin activities authorised by this permit, the law requires you wait at least 21 days
frozrz the "date of receipt" -the date you receive this letter. Date of receipt is defined in RCW
43.2113.001 as
(1) "Business days" means Monday through Friday exclusive of any state or federal
holiday.
(2) "Date of receipt" means:
(a) Five business days after the date of mailing; oz•
(b) The date of actual receipt, when the actual receipt date can be proven by a
preponderance of the evidence. 'l~l~e recipient's sworn affidavit or declaration.
