942 Budget Amend NSP MaintenanceCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 942
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF YELM amending the 2011 City of
Yelm Budget, adopted by Ordinance No. 929 (12/10) by transferring
$3,000 from the Capital Reserve 197 559 90 67 00 and creating a new
line item 197 559 50 48 00 for the utility and maintenance of three
Neighborhood Stabilization Program homes.
WHEREAS, Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic
Development (herein known as CTED) and U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) entered into an agreement with the City of Yelm in
2009 to facilitate the use of federal grant funding known as the Neighborhood
Stabilization Plan (NSP) to the City of Yelm ;and
WHEREAS, the agreement authorized the purchase of three homes by the City
of Yelm to be managed by anon-profit organization; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm will maintain ownership of the properties including
maintenance and payment of the utilities until permanent arrangements are
agreed upon;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1
The 2011 City of Yelm Budget is amended by decreasing the Capital
Reserve and increasing the new line for Maintenance Repair Utility NSP
Homes.
Decrease Capital Reserve 197 559 90 67 00 $3,000
Increase Maint/Repair/Utility NSP 197 559 50 48 00 $3,000
Section 2.
Ratify and Confirmation Clause -Any action taken pursuant to this
Ordinance but prior to the effective date is hereby ratified and confirmed.
