ORDINANCE NO. 944
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF YELM AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 478, (8/93), ESTABLISHING THE YELM LIBRARY BUILDING
FUND No. 110 FOR THE REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE OF
DONATIONS TO THE YELM LIBRARY BUILDING, AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Yelm Library Donation fund was closed for inactivity and the
number used for another fund; and
WHEREAS, there is renewed interest in fundraising in support of maintaining the
current location of the Yelm Library; and
WHEREAS, all gifts of money or property made for the benefit of the library, the
library building(s) or equipment, and all equipment and other property donated for
library purposes, whether through the Yelm Library Advisory Board or to the City
directly, shall become the property of the City, held for library purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby created within the City of Yelm Budget a fund to be known as
the Librarv Building Fund Fund No. 110. There shall be
deposited in said Fund all monies received from public or private sources for the
purpose set forth in Section 2 below.
Section 2. Revenue to the voi.,, I ihrr.r~i C„r„~ Librarv Building Fund shall consist of
monies derived from public and private sources for
expenditures related to the purchase and building maintenance of the Yelm Timberland
Libra
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be effective September 7, 2011, being a date not less
than five days after publication.
