Mr. Heimbigner:
The City of Yelm has reviewed the latest civil plan set for the Salmon Run Apartments,
revised July 27, 2011, and has the following remaining issues that must be addressed prior to approval.A pedestrian pathway must be provided within the complex to provide access from
Buildings B, C, and D to the community building. The pathway must be of a different material than the asphalt parking lot.
It should be noted that water connections will be required to be hot tapped.
The STEP tanks sizing analysis is accepted. However, the
“primary tanks” that serve Buildings B, D, and E do not provide 100 percent of the required detention volume, which is proposed to be split between the “primary tank”and “pump tank”.
The entire required detention volume will need to be provided in the “primary tank” in order to provide full treatment to solids.Sincerely,
Grant Beck, Director
