662 Amend Salary PW SuperintendentCITY OF YELM ORDINANCE NO. 662 AN ORDINANCE repealing and replacing City of Yelm Ordinance No. 630 (8/98) and amending Page 5, Appendix II, City of Yelm Budget Ordinance No. 641 (12/98) by adjusting the monthly salary amount for providing building official services. WHEREAS, the City has determined a need for a "Building Official" to oversee "Building Inspector" activities; and WHEREAS, the Public Works Superintendent is qualified and willing to provide that oversight; NOW, THEREOFRE, the City Council of the City of Yelm, Thurston County, Washington does hereby adopt and ordain: Section 1. Ordinance No. 630 is repealed and replaced by Ordinance No. 662. Section 2. The Public Works Superintendent will receive an additional payment of $100 per month for each month he continues to provide "Building Official" services to the City of Yelm. Section 3. Payments shall commence on April 1, 1999 as agreed upon by the Public Works Superintendent and the City of Yelm. Section 4. Ordinance 641, Appendix II, Page 5 is amended to reflect the following addition: POSITION MONTHLY DEPT. FUND NUMBER % SALARY BY SALARY DEPT. PW Superintendent — TP $100.00 Current 001 524 1010 100% $100.00 Section 5. Funding in the 1999 Building Department Budget is sufficient to cover the costs as provided in this ordinance.
