Eagle Plaza Medical Office Building Civil Review
Thanks for your response, Steve. Gary had asked me the question last
week and we had determined since the lab that is in the building is only
for blood draw, we were not required to have an acid neutralizing tank.
However, from the sound of your email, the lab is not the real concern.
If this in fact is required it will take a sometime to locate and
identify the type and size of tank.

Subject: Eagle Plaza Medical Office Building Civil Review
Gina: I have been reviewing the civil plans for Eagle Plaza Medical
Building. I have some comments from the first review that have either
not been addressed or I cannot find the information for the Acid
Neutralizing Tank for the Medical building. I am certain this will be
required for this building due to various chemical and or products used
for medical practices procedures and treatments. Our City of Yelm Sewer
Department will require such a device to neutralize any such materials
that would be rinsed in sinks, wash basins, poured down toilets or end
up in floor drains and could be a potential threat to the treatment of
waste and solids in the step tank sewage treatment system. It is my
understanding that the acid neutralizing tank or apparatus will be
installed inside the building, therefore should be on the architectural
plans. I did not see any information on this in the resubmitted
architectural plans. Can you please let me know where I could find this
info or if it has just been left out until a later time. I would like
to see the proposed location and submittal for this device. If possible
I would like to have this info before 12:00 noon today April 22, 2009 if
possible. Feel free to call me (360) 458-8423 or e-mail me at
