Re: Fairway Estates Short Subdivision Civil Plan Extension 20070235
Dear Mike:
The City of Yelm has reviewed the Fairway Estates civil plans and have extended the
approval date to December 4, 2012. That is twelve (12) months from the date of
expiration.
Although the plans were signed approved, there are a few items that you should be
aware of prior to construction.
On sheet C2.1, note number 5 there is a sewer blow off assembly adjacent to a water
line. A ten (10) foot separation is required per health regulations.
Note 4 on sheet C2.1 is correct in that there shall be a double detector check valve
(DDCV) at the irrigation meter, however a reduced pressure backflow assembly is
shown in the details on page C2.2. There should be a detail for the DDCV.
Page C3.1 shows a note for Lots 1 - 3 that STEP tanks must be located outside of 100'
radius of the existing well to remain. Please have your engineer check the health
regulations for what may be located within the well radius, as you will need to create
and record a well head protection document.
