We are currently putting a new store in the city of Yelm at 412 Yelm Ave E. I am writing you today concerning our cyclone fencing. As a nonprofit organization, finances are very important issue to us, as is the security of our buildings. The current location has cyclone fencing surrounding the building. Removing the already existing fence and replacing it would place a burden on our organization and our ability to help the low income families in which we serve. The issue in question is the visibility at the right of way of the fencing. However, the fence has landscaping on either side blocking the view of the fence at either side. That would leave the front face on Yelm Ave East being the only visible cyclone fencing. I propose leaving the fence where it is covered by landscaping and replacing the only visible fence which is parallel to Yelm Ave East with a visually pleasing cedar fence. This would allow us to have a secure building, still meet city code since the fencing is covered by landscaping, and not cost undue burden to our nonprofit. I have included pictures of the areas in question for visual reference. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing for you soon. If you have any questions, please, do not hesitate to contact me.
