Jack in the Box Review letter 062306 June 23, 2006 Bob Hitchcock th 19606 NE 8 St. Camas, WA 98607 Re: Yelm JIB TI Bob, The City of Yelm has completed the initial review of the TI for the Jack in the Box located at 1001 Yelm Ave. East. Please review the following comments: 1)ADA upgrades meet or exceed IBC and State Amendments. 2)A1.0 depicts signage on 3 faces. Yelm Sign Code allows for 2 street frontages of the building at corner lots to be signed. Resubmit elevations. Note identifiable corporate logos are considered signs and are regulated. See attached. 3)ID1.0 Furniture Plan Notes #10 refer to occupancy of 67. I calculate the building at 50. C of O states 40 under the UBC. Show calculations or revise note to 50. 4)The City of Yelm uses the value of the TI for permitting process. Please submit an estimate of the cost of the wall, flooring and ceiling replacement. Electrical work will be permitted by Labor and Industries. 5)The building is currently in violation of its land use requirements. Please submit to the City of Yelm a plan for the revision of the Trash Enclosure. Our developmental guide lines require the enclosure to screen all trash generated by the business. Currently the card board recycling bin is stored out side of the trash enclosure. 6)The TI may require review by Thurston County Health Department.
