The Report of Concrete Test Specimens will reflect this correction. June 25: Inspector Mark Robinson on site, 9:15 am, for inspection of forms and reinforced concrete placement. Sunny, 72 degrees. Contractor places concrete for the exterior continuous foundation walls from grid line 10.8 (D.2) east, north, and west around to grid J (12). Also place footings from grid G.8 (10.2) west to grid J.2 (8). Inspector reviews structural notes on sheet S1.0, plan notes and schedules on sheet S1.1B, shear wall anchor schedule (type B, the 5/8” x 10” anchor bolt option is chosen), and relevant details on sheet SD.1. All areas approved for concrete. Concrete is placed by truck chute at a 4.5” maximum slump and is vibrated for consolidation. One set of compressive strength test specimens is made on the placement of 14 yards and is stored in the field away from the work area for pickup tomorrow. See Report of Concrete Test Specimens for further details on today’s placement. June 27: Inspector Mark Robinson on site, 9:25 am, for inspection of forms and reinforced concrete placement. Sunny, 77 degrees. Contractor places concrete for the exterior continuous footings from grid line 9 (J.2) west to Q (2.2); exterior continuous foundation walls from grid lines J (12) west to J.2 (8) and D.5 (10.8) west to D.2 (10). Inspector reviews mix design and structural notes on sheet S1.0, plan notes schedules on sheet S1.1B, shear wall anchor schedule and relevant details on sheet SD.1. All areas approved for concrete.
