TOWN OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 322
AN ORDINANCE providing for the annexation of
certain contiguous property to the Town of
Yelm, Washington.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the method of annexation for
municipal purposes provided by RCW 35.13.180, the Town
Council and the Mayor of the Town of Yelm have determined it
appropriate to annex for use as public road, certain real
property more particularly described hereinbelow, which is
contiguous to a boundary of the Town of Yelm; and
WHEREAS, said real property is presently a part of the
public road system of the State of Washington; and
WHEREAS, the Thurston County Boundary Review Board has
declined to invoke jurisdiction over said property, and,
WHEREAS, the State of Washington has given its written
consent to said annexation, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YELM,
THURSTON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, as follows:
Section 1. The following described real property
situate Tin — Murston County, State of Washington, to -wit:
That portion of the public right -of -way for
Secondary State Highway No. 507 lying North-
westerly of the East line of the Northwest
quarter of Section 30, Township 17 North,
Range 2 East, W.M., and Southeasterly of the
West line of the Southeast quarter of Section
19, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, W.M.,
the centerline of which is described as
follows: Beginning at a point on the East
line of said Northeast quarter of said
Section 30, 1770 feet more or less South of
the Northeast corner of said Section; thence
Northwesterly 3320 feet more or less to a
point on the West line of said Southeast
quarter of Section 19 which bears North
256 feet more or• less from the Southwest
corner thereof.

Section 2. The real property described in Section 1 of
this Ordinance shall be and become a part of the Town of
Yelm as provided herein on the effective date of this Ordin-
ance and shall be subject to all laws and ordinances of the
Town of Yelm now or hereafter in force, and in the event
said area shall ever cease to be used as a public roadway,
then in such event said area shall be subject to the

existing indebtedness of the Town of Yelm and, if ever
applicable, shall be assessed and taxes at the same rate and
on the same basis as other property within the corporate
limits of the Town of Yelm is assessed and taxed.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Town of Yelm be, and he is
hereby irected to record a copy of this Ordinance in the
office of the Auditor of Thurston County, Washington, and to
file a certified copy hereof with the Board of County
Commissioners of Thurston County, Washington.
