320 Annexation Section 19, Township 17 NTOWN OF YELM ORDINANCE NO. 320 AN ORDINANCE providing for the certain contiguous property to Yelm, Washington. r�1 Vli ' REOU'� OR SAM ?UTY annexaTon f the Town of WHEREAS, pursuant to the method of annexation for municipal purposes provided by RCW 35.13.180, the Town Council and the Mayor of the Town of Yelm have determined it appropriate to annex for use as public road, certain real property more particularly described hereinbelow, which is contiguous to a boundary of the Town of Yelm; and WHEREAS, said real property is presently a part of the public road system of Thurston County, Washington and the Thurston County Commissioners have consented to such annex- ation by the Town of Yelm; and WHEREAS, the Thurston County Boundary Review Board has declined to invoke jurisdiction over said property, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YELM, THURSTON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, as follows: Section 1. The following described real property situated in Thurston County, State of Washington, to -wit: That portion of Section 19, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, W.M., described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the southerly right -of -way line of Coates Road extended and the easterly right -of -way line of Crystal Springs Road; thence north- erly along said easterly right -of -way line to its intersection with the centerline of Yelm Creek; thence northwesterly along the center- line of said Yelm Creek to a point that is 30 feet westerly, measured at right angles, to the north -south centerline of the Northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, W.M.; thence southerly parallel and 30 feet westerly of said north -south centerline to intersection thereof with the southerly right -of -way line of said Coates Road; thence southeasterly along said south- erly right -of -way line of Coates Road to the true point of beginning. being contiguous to the Town of Yelm, Washington, and not being a part of any incorporated city or town of the State of Washington, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Town of Yelm. Section 2. The real property described in Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be and become a part of the Town of Yelm as provided herein on the effective date of this Ordinance, and that said area shall be subject to the VOL 1438 nGr 01/ existing indebtedness of the Town of Yelm and, if ever applicable, shall be assessed and taxes at the same rate and on the same basis as other property within the corporate limits of the Town of Yelm is assessed and taxed, and shall be subject to, all laws and ordinances of the Town of Yelm then and thereafter in force. Section 3. The Clerk of the Town of Yelm be, and he is hereby directed to record a copy of this Ordinance in the office of the Auditor of Thurston County, Washington, and to file a certified copy hereof with the Board of County Commissioners of Thurston County, Washington.
