4. Roundtable discussion of upcoming initiatives for 2013. Council discussed
topics of interest.
Fairpoint — public parking after 5 p.m.
JBLM rotation population.
Restaurant vacant at golf course again. Most recently, Fadi's moved deli to gas
station locale.
Creek Street Development. Construction continues for apt and commercial pad,
not yet leased.
Vacant homes nuisance, contact Police Chief and Building Official.
Water update — Hearing with Ecology and Foster. Awaiting decision up to 6 mo.
Water loss and connection limits.
New WA State Governor staffing.
City Park Master Plan update; Draft design in works, finance options discussed:
potential to use entitlement funds, governance not yet formed.
Plastic Bag Ban, SWAC presentation scheduled for February study session.
Mazama Pocket Gopher- Federal listing decision expected September 2013.
State Auditor selection process.

Loop project, Phase II back on State Transportation project list.
Committee assignments considerations. Tracey Wood volunteered as alternate
on IT.
Past due LID payments subject to foreclosure. Received some payments
School Resource Officer availability reduced, position not eliminated.
Council Retreat value.
Capital projects; Water and Mosman alignment.
WA Conservation Corp completing fencing off Vail Rd/Smith Farm, water
mitigation.
Reclaimed Water Facility deferred maintenance.
Storm water pond cleanout.
