CITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 4.2.0
AN ORDINANCE prohibiting the burning of grass, hay, straw,
paper, brush, rags, cloth, rubbish, garbage and other
combustible substances within the corporate limits of the
City of Yelm without f irst obtaining a permit to do so and
amending Section 8.20.010 of the Yelm Municipal Code and
Section 1 of City of Yelm Ordinance No. 95 (1961) and
deleting Section 8.20.020- 8.20.080 of Yelm Municipal Code
and Section 2 -11 of City of Yelm Ordinance No. 95 and
establishing an effective date.
Section 1. AMENDMENT. Section 8.20.010 of the Yelm Municipal Code
and Section 1 of City of Yelm Ordinance No. 95, are each hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following language to wit:

and by substituting in the place and stead of the preceding deleted
language, the following language to wit:
the Chief of ThursLori County Fire District No. 2 or his
representative.
Section 2. REPEALED. Section 2 -11. of City of Yelm Ordinance No. 95
are hereby repealed in their entirety- and corresponding Yelm Municipal
Code Sections 8.20.020- 8.20.080 are also repealed in their entirety.
Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Yelm, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof the 8th day of January
1992.
