The proposed side yard location is not recommended because the noise bounces back and forth between the buildings. If the neighbor complains about the noise and the noise levels exceed what is allowed by state law, additional sound suppression or relocation of the generator will be required. The rear yard location is recommended to allow the noise to escape and to have less impact on the neighbors. Would you like to relocate the generator to the rear yard? 1
