Weber Property Flood Plain Relocation To whom it may concern: The City of Yelm has received a Critical Areas Report, SEPA Environmental Checklist, and other supporting information to grade and fill a parcel that is partially encumbered by a flood zone. The project description is to fill and grade within the floodplain. The grading will include moving soil on the property to fill a portion located within the flood plain, grading to provide compensatory floodplain storage onsite, habitat mitigation and stormwater management. The Critical Areas Report and supporting information are included for your review. The City invites your early comments, and under the Endangered Species Act, a biological evaluation. Please provide comments no later than October 25, 2013. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at (360) 458-8496.
