Subject: Palisades West Booster Pump Site/Building Layout
Good Morning Grant,
Attached is the proposed building layout and site plan reflecting all known electrical equipment and pump components.
The generator supplier has indicated the clearances provided are acceptable for generator service and maintenance.
Please review and let us know if this complies with the City's requirements.

Grant,
Please disregard the previously submitted building plan. There are additional electrical components required not
reflected in this plan. I will provide a revised plan as soon as available.

Grant,
I will proceed with laying out a site plan with the required building dimensions. Given the location of the existing pipe
stubs and the size of the generator and fuel tank, if we maintain the location of the generator on the east side of the
pumphouse, the diagonal clearance from the northeast corner of the generator to the property line will need to be
reduced to 2.75 feet. If this clearance is not acceptable the generator will need to be located on the west side of the
pumphouse.
Please confirm if the reduced clearance is acceptable to the City.

Clint -
We reviewed this at Site Plan Review and will need something a little cleaner for final
approval. Nobody saw any issues, but the diagram wasn't easy to decipher.
A pdf to myself and Ryan would work.
Thanks,
Grant

Grant,
I think Dennis is looking for the City to approve the building size is adequate to accommodate the electrical equipment,
as requested by Parametrix. If the City concurs with the building size, KPFF will work on a site plan that reflects that
building footprint.
Thanks,

Clint -
The attached was sent directly to Ryan from HD Fowler, but it appears that it is
information you need in properly sizing the building. Let me know if you expected the
City to do anything with the submission, otherwise, the balls in your court!

Hi Ryan,
The pump building at Palisades is going to be pretty packed. Here's the lay out. ATS, panel board and load center are
shown on the second page and would run into the pressure tank if the building were not extended.

Clint the cost of the service rated ATS is more than double the standard. We recommend the minimum inside
dimensions of the building be 15'x 15'. Bigger would be better if the property could handle it. We'll size the heat pump
based on that footprint with an 8' ceiling and then see if the generator can handle the extra load.
Thanks.
