The proposed dock would consist of a 6-foot wide by 78-foot long fixed pier dock attached to galvanized steel pilings. A 6-foot wide by 12-foot long ramp will extend from the end of the fuced dock section to a 20-foot wide by 10-foot long floating dock section. The total length of the dock from the OHWM will be 100 feet. The Applicant has applied for a Shoreline Variance in order to allow for a dock that exceeds maximum length regulations. 'fhe Shoreline Master Program for the THurston Region(SMPTR)designates the Proponent's property as a Rural Shoreline Environment. The proposed development is within the Rural LAMIltD Two Dwelling Units Per Acre zoning district. If contamination is currently known or suspected during construction,testing of potentially contaminated media must be conducted. Erosion control measures must be in place prior to any clearing, grading, or consh�uction. These control Measures must be effective to prevent stormwater nuioff from canying soil and other pollutants into the lalce. Sand,silt,clay particles,and soil will damage aquatic habitat and are considered to be pollutants. 3. The applicant shall remove consh-uction debris to an approved site (landfill or recycling center) outside of the shoreline area.Material from behind the bullchead shall be excavated and disposed of in an approved location. 4. To minimize impacts to shallow water and beach habitat, consiruction of the proposed dock and float shall conform to the following requirements: a. Construction shall be done with non-treated wood andlor materials that will not release toa{ic substances into the water. 5. All additional permits required for this project will need to meet the applicable edition of the Thurston . County Road Standazds and the Drainage Design and Erosion Control Manual at the time of application. NOTES: ➢ The issuance of.a Determination of Nonsignificance does not constitute project approval.
