The revision would include: combining multiple sections of code relating to right-of-way work,incorporating all right-of-work into this chapter instead of just utilities,codifying current practices and procedures,adding trails to this chapter to maintain consistent standards for all public right-of-way,language clarification throughout the chapter for easier interpretation, definition updates for consistency and emerging technologies,and defining authority between the Public Works Director and County Engineer. The revision would consolidate Chapters 1328 '`' (Construction and Permits)and Chapter 13.52(Trees and Vegetation)into Chapter 13.56. Revised Chapter 13.56 would address all work within the County right of way. Chapters 13.28 and 13.52 would be repealed. A briefing with the Board of County Commissioners regarding this project was held in December 2013. At the discretion of the Board,an additional briefing may be held after the comment period ends on this environmental determination. Subsequent to the comment period and a briefing,if held,a public hearing to obtain comments will be scheduled. Public notices for this hearing will be issued at least 20 days prior to the hearing. This decision was made after review by the Lead Agency of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Lead Agency.
