Dear Karen:
We are submitting the attached plans for your review and approval. The civil plans were originally
approved by the City of Yelm in 2013. The owner has decided to change the building foot print. It is my
understanding that the Building Department has a building permit showing the new building,therefore
the civil plans need to be updated and submitted for a re-review.
We would like to attend the SPR meeting to present the revisions and modifications in an effort that
these plans will not need to be sent out for additional peer-review processing. The revisions are
generally minor in nature and we hope they could be reviewed and approved by City Staff.
In an effort to work toward staff approval, we have listed the revisions by sheet number for your
convenience in reviewing our request.
Sheet CV-01:
• We updated the plan view to reflect the new building and parking lot configuration.
Sheet SP-01:
• We updated the plan view and relocated the construction key notes to point to the correct
locations.
� Sheet HC-01:
• We updated the plan view and dimensions.
Sheets EC-01 and EC-02:
• We updated the plan view but no design changes to these sheets.
Sheet CG-01:
• We updated the plan view and modified the spot elevations to account for the parking lot
configuration and raised the building by 0.5 feet.

Sheet CG-02:
• We updated the plan view and moved two catch basins and removed one catch basin within the
parking lot to facilitate acceptable grade slopes in the parking area.
• No revisions have been proposed for the stormwater facility.
Sheets CG-03 and SP-02:
• No changes to these sheets.
Sheets UT-01 and UT-02:
• We updated the plan view and reconnected the water and sewer utilities based on the new
building.
• Sewer tank size, pump configuration, and connection point in Berry Valley Road remains
unchanged. The tank location was moved to accommodate the different building shape.
• Water utility connection points in Berry Valley Road remain unchanged. The fire sprinkler
connections in the building were changed based on the mechanical room location.
• Water usage will remain the same or be slightly less than previously approved.
Sheets UT-03, UT-04, UT-05, UT-06 and UT-07:
• No changes were made to these sheets.
Sheets UT-08, UT-09, PP-01, PP-02 and IL-01:
• No changes were made to these sheets. These improvements were previously constructed
therefore no revisions are necessary.
