The foundation drainage system shall be perforated or open- jointed approved drain tile or pip, not less than 3 inches in diameter. Foundation drains shall be laid in drain rock or other approved porous material with not less than 4 inches surrounding the pipe and wrapped with filter fabric. The foundation drainage system shall discharge to an approved surface location which will not impact any adjacent property or a drywell sized according to Section R405.1 IRC. The City of Yelm implements Section 11OLY of the Uniform Plumbing Code as follows: Roof drains shall be installed around the entire foundation wall perimeter in a loop. A cleanout shall be located in line within 1 foot of the foundation wall and the approved drainage system. Roof drainage piping shall be tested pursuant to Section 1109 of the j Uniform Plumbing Code.
