The City of Yelm has received complaints from the neighborhood about the collection of
house hold waste, debris and the upkeep of the property you own in Yelm at 410
Washington Ave SW. The presence of these items has become a nuisance and according to
reports has also become a rodent and odor nuisance.
The Yelm Municipal Code Section 9.44.020 (K.7) states that the following specific acts,
omissions, places and conditions are declared to be public nuisances:
"7. Trash, litter, weeds or grass, rags, accumulations of empty barrels, boxes, crates,
packing cases, mattresses, bedding, excelsior, packing straw, or other packing materials,
lumber not piled, scrap iron, abandoned stoves, kitchen appliances, tin and other metal not
neatly piled, or anything whatsoever in which flies or rats may breed or multiply or which
may be a fire danger,"
Please within the next 15 days upon receipt of this letter remove all trash, garbage and
vegetation intruding into your neighbors yards.
