Attached please find the Special Event permit. Since you would like to extend your time for having banners up, please fill out two request. One for the Grand Opening starting August 31, 2015 thru Sept 14, 2o15 and a second request for September 15 thru the 30, 2015. Will this help with what you would like to do? You are allowed one Grand Opening event and four Special Events during the year. Usually if the request is for back to back events we have a week between each event where signage comes down. I got approval from the Sign Enforcement Officer, John Rowland to run your first two events back to back. Regarding the amount of signage please let us know what you plan to do on the applications with a site plan. A hand drawn site plan is fine. On the application there is an outline of signage allowed if you want to take a look at that. For your convenience, if you would like, you can email me your application and site plan and I will process and sign on your behalf and email the permit back to you. If you have any questions, please call or drop me an email. I am in the office through Wednesday and then back in the office on the 8th. I do need to obtain a permit. It would appear that the time limit to have the banner up is 2- weeks. If we were hoping for a month, is that allowable or is there a cost for that? We're having a "soft" opening with a true Grand Opening happening once we're running smoothly operationally. Please advise. I'll get that permit turned around right away. THANKS!
