Tim,
Thank you for meeting with me on site to discuss the City of Yelm concerns regarding the
work trucks and equipment being stored on site.
Your property has been recently rezoned to High - Density Residential R -16. Permitted uses
in this zoning are all residential in nature. The appearance of the use of the site as a
construction truck and equipment yard is what prompted the letter and subsequent
meeting.
As we discussed on site storage of RV's, trailers for residential or recreational hauling and
family vehicles are permissible in the R -16 Zone. If you wish to store these while
unlicensed you must store them behind a solid fence or in a structure.
