Mr. Grier,
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 13.04.220 (A) &(B) YMC that your use of
properties and buildings within the City of Yelm are in violation of provisions of the Yelm
Municipal Code (YMC).
ALLEGATIONS OF FACT
1. Frank and Shirley Grier own property at 310 Railroad St NW, Yelm, WA, legally described
as; Section 19 Township 17 Range 2E SS -8080 LT 1 Document 026/389
2. Frank and Shirley Grier operates a retail service business at 310 Railroad St NW
3. On November 15, 2013 Frank and Shirley Grier applied for a City of Yelm business
license.
4. On November 19, 2013 Frank and Shirley Grier were informed via US Mail of the cross
connection control requirements and allowed 30 days to bring the property into
compliance.
ALLEGATIONS OF LAW
A. The above described real property is within the City of Yelm.
B. The City has the authority to require cross connection control per Section 13.04.220
YMC.
C. As of December 21, 2013 Frank and Shirley Grier are operating the retail service
business in violation of Chapter 13, YMC.
IT IS ORDERED THAT Frank and Shirley shall cease the cross connection control violation within
the next 15 days or demonstrate to Kevin Ray, City of Yelm Cross Control Manager, that they
are no longer in violation of Chapter 13, Yelm Municipal Code.
Failure to comply with the terms of this notice of violation may result in further actions by the
City of Yelm, including, but not limited to the issuance of additional civil penalties of up to
$250.00 per day of violation, discontinuance of public water service, or further enforcement
action through a court of competent jurisdiction.
