CITY OF YELM ORDINANCE NO 467
LONGMIRE STREET ZONING
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE YELM ZONING ORDINANCE MAP BY CHANGING A
PORTION OF 4 9 ACRES PARCEL FROM SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO
MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONING
WHEREAS, the Yelm Planning Commission has a held public hearing
regardlng this proposal as described in file ZON-8087, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the site of the proposed multi-
family zone is feasible and appropriate for multi-family
development and will be adequately buffered from neighboring land
uses and development,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS.
Section 1 That the Yelm Zoning Map shall be and is hereby
amended to change the designation of a portion of the North half
of the Southeast quarter of Section 24, Township 17 North, Range
1 East, W M described as follows
Beginning at a point which is the intersection from the
Southerly line of Yelm Avenue and the Northwest boundary of
Solberg's First Addition to Yelm, Washington which point is about
25 feet Northwesterly from the intersection of the said Southerly
line of Yelm Avenue with the East line of said Sectlon 24; thence
Northwesterly along said Southerly line of Yelm Avenue extended
875 feet, thence South 37 degrees 56 West 543 5 feet to the
initial point of this description, thence continuing South 37
degrees 56' west 76 5 feet, thence North 53 degrees 30'30" west
50 feet, thence South 37 degrees 56' west 415 feet, thence South
53 degrees 30'30" East 450 feet, thence North 37 degrees 56' East
492 5 feet; thence North 53 degrees 30'30 West 400 feet to the
initial point of this description
zoning, and further that the Yelm Comprehensive Plan shall be
amended accordingly
This Ordinance shall be effective on Mav 11 , 1993,
than five days following publication

4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 1993, to repeive comments on a
proposed zone change (ZON8087) for a portion of a 4.9 acre
site on Longmire St. from Single Family, Residential to Multi-
Famlly Residential. The area to be rezoned is more
