We reviewed the environmental checklist and have the following concerns. Any discharge of sediment-laden runoff or other pollutants to waters of the state is in violation of Chapter 90.48 - Water Pollution Control, and WAC 173-201A - Water Quality standards for Surface Waters of the State of Washington, and is subjE~ct to enforcement action. Proper erosion and sediment control practices must be used on the construction site and adjacent areas to prevent upland sediments from entering Yelm Creek. All areas disturbed or newly created by construction activities must be revegetated, use bioengineering techniques, use clean durable riprap, or some other equivalent type of protection against erosion whE~n other measures are not practical. If you have any questions, please call Ms. Loree' Randall with the Water Quality Program at (206) 586-5553. ~' Sincerely, , ;J1idt~ I "b;) th- M. vernice Santee Environmental Review section MVS: 93-7811 cc: Loree' Randall, SWRO Sarah Barrie, SWRO @~t8 @ r/ovJ0i2 c/ - ~ 1J11#t~ ((jfl W ar r(r (CUA1 ltwJ/6rr1cvrc;'U a r ~ ft~ {/{j;Y';V5 {h-l, /vY'f ~(}t//lJ/au ~~ 't)- ~['..
