ORDINANCE NO. 498
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE YELM ZONING ORDINANCE MAP BY
CHANGING A TWO AND ONE-HALF ACRE PARCEL LOCATED ON VANCIL
ROAD FROM RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL TO MULTI-FAMILY (R-2)
RESIDENTIAL ZONING.
WHEREAS, the Yelm Planning Commission has held a public hearing
regarding this proposal as described in file ZON-8103, and
WHEREAS, the City council finds that the site of the proposed
multi-family zone is feasible and appropriate for said zoning,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Yelm Does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That the Yelm Zoning Map and Yelm Comprehensive
Plan shall be and are hereby amended accordingly to reflect
the zone change designation to R-2 of the following described
property in the City of Yelm, Thurston County, Washington:
Short Subdivision 1412, Lot 1, Volume 14, Short Plat Page 120
Section 2.
1994, being

This Ordinance shall be effective on March 22,

The Ye~m City Council will hold a public ~earing to receive
comment on a proposed rezone on the east side,of Vancil Rd.
The proposal is to rezone about 2 5 acres of property along
Vancil Rd. from Residential Agricultural (1 unit per 5 ac~es) to
Multi-Family Residential
The meeting will be held on February 23," 1994, at 7:30.p.m.
