Dear Mr. Chester,
City of Yelm
Community Development Department
105 Yelm Avenue West
Yelm, WA 98597
This letter is to welcome you as a new business owner in Yelm and to let you know that
there are several issues that must be resolved before the City can approve your
application for a Business License to take over Copper Creek.
As you may know, the current owner installed a full service kitchen without proper
approvals from the City or the Thurston County Health Department and was issued a
stop order. Before the kitchen may be used or the restaurant reopened,
1. The new hood and suppression system must be inspected and approved.
This inspection is currently scheduled for March 29th at 9:00 AM. Any
corrections from this inspection must be made before occupancy is approved.
2. All corrections required by Kay Massong from Thurston County Health
Department must be resolved. These inspections are in process.
3. The grease interceptor must be tested and approved by the Yelm Sewer
Department. This test has yet to be scheduled.
Sincerely,
John Rowland, Building Inspector
Community Development Department
