This letter shall serve as official notice of violation of Chapter's 8 and 10, of the City of
Yelm Municipal Code.
Section 8.12.040 states "It shall be the duty of every person in possession, charge, or
control of any premises within the city where waster materials are created or
accumulated, to at all times keep or cause to be authorized by the City, a container for
the deposit therein of waste material, and to deposit or cause to be deposited such
waster material therein. Section 8.12.050 further states "it is unlawful for any person to
throw, cast, deposit or cause or permit to be thrown, cast or deposited any waste
material or anything offensive or injurious to the public health; or to throw, deposit or
permit to be thrown or deposited, or permit to remain upon any premises owned,
occupied or controlled by such person, any uncontained waste material or anything
offensive, or injurious to the public health to persons or property.
Section 10.20.010 states" No unlicensed and /or inoperable motor vehicle shall be
stored on any premises within the City for a period exceeding 30 days, unless the same
is stored within an enclosed structure. Violations hereof shall be attributed to the owner
or owners of record of the real property.
To avoid further action by the City, please remove the waste materials and vehicles
from the premises, and bring the property into compliance with the Yelm Municipal
Code no later than March 24, 2006.
