Dear Ms. Walker, On September 4, 2001 you were sent a letter from me requesting that the garbage, old appliances and abandoned vehicles be removed from your properties at 302 and 304 Edwards Street. To date you have not responded to this request. This leaves the city no recourse but to start an abatement process. To satisfy the City in the next 15 days you will need to: 1. Remove all garbage from the front, back and side yards visible from the street. 2. Show proof of waste disposal service as required by City Ordinance. 3. Remove all of the old appliances 4. Remove abandoned car license 9981 BWB This citation is a Civil Infraction and will be assessed a separate violation for each day past the 15 days for compliance. You have 5 days after receipt of this notice to appeal this notice in writing to the hearing board. PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENTS FOR DETAILED INFORMATION You are hereby further notified to abate that condition to the satisfaction of the city within 15 days of the date of this notice. If you do not abate the condition within 15 days the city can abate the condition at your expense. In addition, your failure to abate the condition will be considered a violation for which you may incur monetary penalties as provided in sections 9.44.015 and 9.48.040, Yelm Municipal Code, for each day or part of day that the condition continues to exist. After review I have determined that the complaints are valid and request that you remove the accumulated debris between the two houses and store (per attached ordinance) or remove the unlicensed vehicle.
