Box 318 Yelm, WA 98516 Re: Sale of Vehicles and Customer /Employee Parking Dear Ms. Littlejohn Over the last few weeks the east side of your business on Yelm Ave. East has become a parking lot for either used vehicles or parking for the business. Your property is Zoned C -I Commercial. The sale of Automobiles and RV's is an allowed use, with the condition that proper land use conditions have been met. C -1 zoning does not allow for parking on gravel surfaces either for customers or employees. The City of Yelm during the development of Yelm Avenue East provided you with paved parking. If this is not adequet for your needs, you need to make an application for the civil plan provision for an expansion of your existing paved parking lot. If you require the paving upgrades to meet your needs, you may make an appointment with us on Wednesday afternoons to do a pre- submission for your land use application. If pavement expansion is not part of your plans the City of Yelm requests that you find a solution to this problem which includes not utilizing the new gravel parking lot.
