ThIs proposed commercIal development will contam one buildmg of approXImately 18,800 square
feet WIth a 72,000 square foot parkmg lot and approXimately 37,900 square feet oflandscaped
areas. Stormwater will be collected m a pIped conveyance system, treated m a coalescmg plate oil
water separator and dIrected to an mfiltratIon system.
Minimum Requirement #1: Erosion and Sediment Control
DIVersIOn dItches will dIrect stormwater runoff durmg constructIon to a sedIment trap constructed
m the southwest comer of the SIte. Filter fabnc fences will be mstalled along adJacent propertIes.
Minimum Requirement #2: Preservation of Natural Drainage Systems:
No natural dramage courses are located on or adJacent to thIs SIte. Stormwater runoff will be
mfiltrated on SIte and little If any runoff will leave the SIte.
Minimum Requirement #3: Source Control of Pollution
VegetatIon cover
Mamtenance of storm dramage facilitIes
Minimum Requirement #4: Runoff Treatment BMPs
Runoff will pass through an coalescing plate oil/water separator pnor to mfiltration.
Minimum Requirement #5: Stream bank Erosion Control
Not applicable. Runoffwill be mfiltrated on SIte.
Minimum Requirement #6: Wetlands
Not applicable. No wetlands have been IdentIfied on or adjacent to this SIte.
Minimum Requirement #7: Water Quality Sensitive Areas
Not applIcable. Runoffwill be mfiltrated on SIte
Minimum Requirement #8: Off site Analysis
Not applIcable. Runoffwill be mfiltrated on SIte
Minimum Requirement #9: Basin Planning
No Basm Plan for thIs area has been Implemented.

EXISTING SITE HYDROLOGY (PART A)
The eXIstmg SIte IS a 2.956 acre parcel frontmg on the south sIde ofYelm Avenue East and the
west sIde of Vancil Road. Smgle family resIdences border the SIte on the south and west sIdes.
The SIte currently contams two small one story buildmgs on the east sIde and a one story church
With an asphalt parkmg lot on the west sIde The eXIstmg ground cover IS mostly grass WIth trees
and some brush.
The SIte IS flat With a slIght slope down towards the southwest comer There are no storm water
conveyance systems or defined dramage channels entenng or eXItmg the SIte The church parkmg
lot contams a storm water system WIth dry wells. There are no public storm systems in the steets
frontmg thIs property It IS assumed that runoff from thIs parcel for the most part mfiltrates on
SIte.
DEVELOPED SITE HYDROLOGY (pART B)
The developed SIte will conSIst of a new commercIal building With asSOCIated parkmg and
landscapmg. The site ImpefV10US area will be 2.085 acres or 71% of the parcel and the pefVlOUS
area will be 0 871 acres or 29% of the total SIte.
An mfiltratIon system will be mstalled on the SIte per D O.E. standards. ThIs system will be SIZed
to mfiltrate the 10 year storm m 24 hours and checked to make sure It can mfiltrate the 100 year
storm m less than 48 hours. The measured mfiltratIon rate for thIs property IS approXImately 1 50
mmutes per mche. The deSIgn mfiltratIon rate IS one half of that or 0.33 mmutes per mch. A
correctIon factor of 3 8% for 71 percent ImpefVlOUS area was added to the reqwred mfiltratIon
surface area. A coalescmg plate oil water separator will be installed on line pnor to the mfiltratIon
system and oil pollutIon control tees will be mstalled m the mfiltratIon system manholes.

RE: Rite Aid Store #5286, Infiltration Tests
cc: Mr. Brent CummingE, 8RH Enginccro, Fax (208) 323-7135
Number of pages including cover sheet:4
Message:
Enclosed please find the results of out infiltration tests for the stonn water system at the
above property.
According to our test rcsul~ it is our opinion that the southern portion of the property
south-adjacent to the south driveway is suitable for the discharge of storm water, The soil
types tested are the sandy gravel and gravcIly sand which arc present below a depth of 4
feet at the location ofPecc-1 and 1.3 feet at the location of Pecc-2. The infiltration area
should be completed in these units and not in less permeable soils if possible. Locations of
excavations for Perc-1 and Perc-2 are shown on the attached map.
At your request we observed conditions in the shed in the southwest portion of the site
and noted well casing and other equipment suggesting past use as a well house. Also note
that capped well casing was observed in the planter at the southwest comer of the church
building and that the Jocked shed west of the residence in the southeast portion of the site
is a well house according to the resident at the east-adjacent property.
