Simple bleating System Size: Washington State
This heating term sizinq calculator is based on the Prescriptive Re uire eats of the 2015 W shin ton State Bner (WSEC) a nd ACCA
Manuals J and S. This calculator will calculate heating loads only. ACCA procedures for sizing coolinag ystems should be used to determine cooling
loads.
The lazin g window) and doer portion of this calculator assumes the installed glazing and door products have an arearea weighted average U- factor of
0.30. The incorporated insulation requirements are the minimum prescriptive amounts specified by the 2015 WSEC.
Please fill out all of the green drop -downs and bones that are applicable to your project. As you make selections in the drop-downs for each section,
some values will be calculated for you. If you do not see the selection you reed in the drop -down options, please call the WSU Energy Extension
Program m at (360) 956-2042 for assistance.
